It all depends on where you live. I usually get between 50 and 60,000 miles between chances but after the fires that we had here in California all the smoke and ash got trapped in my filter and every time I turned on the fan it smelled, so I change it. Mine is located behind the glove box in both my 2003 4runner and my 2008 Tundra and only takes about 10 minuets to change it. Instructions came with the new filter when I bought it from an auto store.
The typical change interval is every 12000 miles. I change the air filter and cabin filter at the same time.
It all depends on where you live. The cabin filter blocks out dust and smoke. I average about 50 to 60, 000 miles before I change mine. but you may live in a dusty area so it may require that you change your more often. Instructions come with the cabin air filter when you buy it. Check the box before you buy it. On a Toyota it's usually behind the glove box.
every 130,000 miles :)
Every 30,000 miles unless you drive in a dusty area.
Change your air filter every 30,000 miles or sooner if you drive in dusty conditions.
Toyota service recommends an old and oil filter change every 5,000 miles or every 6 months.
Toyota recommends every 5,000 miles but you could do it sooner if desired
Depends on which filter you are asking about. Oil Filter = Every 5,000 miles. Air/Cabin Filter = Every 30,000 miles. Fuel Filter = Every 50,000 miles.
The Cabin Filter is located inside the glove box , you will see the fillter door, simply pull it out..it should be changed at 36,000 miles
I would do it each 20K miles. If you live a dusty area then the interval would be 10K.
Replace every 30,000 miles.
Poor flow of air into the vehicle. Replace the cabin filter every 30,000 miles.
