Did you use the correct bulb? Try reading your manual and see if you replaced with correct bulb. Call the dealer, I believe there is a recall on these brake lights.
It is possible that the traction control module is not working and may need replacing.
No.
The Chevy Cavalier cruise control fuse location is dependent upon the year of the automobile. The cruise control fuse will be in the fuse box. The exact location will be on the inside cover of the fuse box.
There are a few reasons why the cruise control does not work in a car. The fuse could be out, the wiring could need replacing or something as simple as the buttons not working.

Common issue...if the brake light swith is not working; the cruise control will not engage and your brake lights will not go on. replacing switch is easy and inexpensive...its located in the upper part of the brake pedal.

cruise control does not work when headlights are on
Sorry I am not sure where the computer is...but just in case you are having the same problem I had with my Liberty/Legacy GT...no cruise control working and the light on constantly...I fixed it by replacing the O2 sensor, even though the dealer wanted to sell me a computer. Good luck. :)
Start with checking the fuse.
first see if its low on fluid if not there's a fault in the switch ----In my 94 the Abs Inop Light was on. This Caused my cruise control to stop working. My third brake light was out on my spoiler and simply replacing it caused the light to go off and cruise to start working
Are you sure you need the fuse for the cruise control. My cruise control wasn't working, neither were my brake lights. All 7 bulbs were burnt out. When the brake lights were replaced the cruise control worked.
