After replacing valves and rings in my 6.5 Briggs and stratton it smokes real bad What is my problem?

you should have three rings, top ring is the compression ring, second ring seperates the compression ring with the third ring which is the oil ring. check to see if the gaps in all three rings are staggerd if not then you are getting oil blow bye.
did you seat your new valves, if not then you may also be getting oil blow bye through the small gap in between the valves and valve seats.
