After you beat the ruins, you head back to the entrance of the forest temple and you will see Rusl there. Talk to him and he'll give you a chicken that can fly really well. Use it to jump across the gorge onto the roots of the giant tree and you will be led to the sacred forest. Here, do what you did when you were in wolf form last time, but you will have to use arrows to get him a few times. Then you will go to the temple of time, and then you do all that good stuff in there.
