Have your electrical wiring checked out, it is shorting out that causes the radio to shut off and the engine to stall. Start from the radio wiring.....Hope this will help..
To remove the radio from a Chevy conversion van, start by disconnecting the battery to ensure safety. Use a flathead screwdriver or a trim removal tool to carefully pry off any surrounding trim or bezel, then remove screws or bolts securing the radio. Once free, gently pull the radio out of the dashboard, disconnect the wiring harness and antenna cable, and then you can replace or repair it as needed. Reassemble by reversing the steps.
Stick your mom in the engine then START IT UP!!!

To fit a new radio in a 1998 Peugeot 106, start by removing the existing radio using a set of radio removal tools or a flathead screwdriver. Disconnect the wiring harness and antenna cable from the old unit. Connect the new radio's wiring harness to the car's wiring, ensuring the colors match, and attach the antenna. Finally, secure the new radio in place and reassemble the dashboard.
