yes thermal power plants cause air pollution by the release of CO , SO2 , NO2 and SPM...
Air pollution
no nly thermal pollution
Vehicle exhausts and factory and power plant emissions.
Due to having large numbers of heavy scale and small scale industries.Large number of vehicles is also responsible air pollution
cars, plains, fabrics, thermal power plants, manure ( especially cows) destroying the ozone layer.
Air Preheaters (APH) are important equipments in modern thermal power stations. By preheating the combustion air with the hot flue gases coming out of the boiler, a considerable increase in efficiency is obtained.
almost none
The air is being polluted and the fuels are making the pollution but they are generating the power plant
Air pollution
Kenneth W Ragland has written: 'Air pollution studies near a coal-fired power plant' -- subject(s): Sulfur dioxide, Air, Smoke plumes, Pollution
Air pollution impacts a community in many ways. Air pollution is a health hazard. Air pollution soils buildings. Air pollution negatively impacts tourism. Air pollution causes premature death of plant life. Air pollution also causes aging of buildings and structures.
Thermal means 'temperature' and 'environment' means that which surrounds you. Temperature would include the ambient heat of the air, hot/cold surfaces and sources of thermal radiation. Thermal pollution is usually caused by Man's production and use of energy or by Man's urban conurbations. There is little that can be done to reduce this form of pollution. However, thermal energy radiates away very quickly and Man's direct contribution to the heat/cold of the environment is minimal. It is greenhouse gasses that are causing the biggest thermal pollution but this is an indirect means of thermal pollution of the planet.
