An aura is the energy that surrounds someone. The color, tint, size, pattern, clarity, and if it changes color all have to do with the person, or thing, it surrounds. Most people can't see auras, some can sense them, and some don't even know what one is. Someone can see, or sense, an aura if they are either a natural witch (as in someone who practices the religion of Wicca) or have practiced to strengthen their mind ability.
From personal experience, I have noticed that people's aura color, pattern, clarity, etc. is effected by what person they are, and is effected by experience of the person. A small child would have a clear, vibrant, white aura, because their mind is not polluted by experience or others yet. Someone who killed a person, and does not feel even a twinge of remorse for that person would have a cloudy, spiked, black or dark red aura.
Some people have mood auras, or thought auras, which change color depending on their mood, or by what they're thinking.
I have only met one person with two auras, though they won't tell me why, apparently they know why though. But a normal person would not have two auras, that would mean they have more than one soul, or something else impossible.
