What happens when electric current is passed through Cu wire?

as a cu wire is a conductor, electrical current does go through it, but some of the electrical energy gets converted into heat energy, and that is why the wire aslo heats up a bit.

What is the use of eureka wire?

Eureka wire consists of Nickel 45% and Copper 55% . its operating temp. is 400 degreeC while melting point is 1270 degreeC.

How does electromagnetic energy work in the operating room?

Any conductor (wire for example) which has an electrical current flowing through it will develop a magnetic field around it because the atoms are being stressed in a particular direction. When that wire is made into a coil shape; the magnetic effect is concentrated, even strong enough to do work. How much work depends on the wire size, electrical source, and how well the coil was made.

Why do electrical tools have insulating handles?

because if you touch a wire you might get electrocuted

What do you call an electrical wire that is not insulated or covered?

The electrical terminology of a wire with no insulation on it is a bare wire.

Does a knot in a wire affect an electrical circuit?

The knot adds extra resistance and inductance to the wire, which in most cases will not make a difference to its performance in a normal circuit operating at dc or power supply frequencies.

What occurs because alternating electrical current flowing through a wire creates an electromagnetic field around the wire?

shorts

What is the correlation between gauge and millimeter size in beading wire - I'm referring to beading wire here not electrical wire?

The general correlation is the lower the gauge number, the heavier the wire diameter gets. For specifics, see related link.

What can induce an electrical current in a wire?

A magnetic field can induce an electrical current in a wire.

Which type of wires used in electrical works?

Electrical wire is the type of wire that is used in electrical equipment. To strip the wires, you need to use wire strippers. There is also special tape called electrical tape that is used to secure the wire.
