this is a experiment
Within the continental US there have been just short of 1000 nuclear detonations for various purposes, over 95% of these were within the Nevada Test Site just north of Las Vegas, NV. This does not include safety tests, plutonium dispersal tests, RaLa tests, etc. that produced no nuclear yield but were experiments required for bomb development.
If you mean the LHC large hadron collider they conducted many many tests but recently failed to create in minature black hole which hurt the string theory as it may unprove it.
A variable in a component to an scientific investigation in which the influence of its changing values and states are measured and recorded throughout the experiment. In other words a variable changes from trial to trial while a control stays the same throughout the experiment... If you are measuring the effect of light bulb wattage on plant growth then the number of watts would be the variable because one plant has 50w, another has 60w, and another has 100w. The controls would be that they all are the same distance away from the light bulb. Or that they are all the same type of plant. etc...
A controlled experiment involves two tests that are identical except for one factor, which is the independent variable. The effect of the independent variable is the one being tested.
a controlled experiment is an experiment that tests only one factor at a time by using a control group and experimental group
The most difficult part of an experiment is designing an experiment that tests only one factor.
A control in science is in an experiment that makes sure the science experiment only tests one variable. A constant is in an experiment and that is a variable that never changes.
A controlled experiment
true
An independent variable is the variable in the experiment that affects the other variable. For example, in an experiment that tests the affect of the amount of fertilizer on plant growth, the amount of fertilizer is the independent variable and the plant growth is the dependent variable. This is because the plant growth DEPENDS on the amount of fertilizer.
homeostasis
No, it could be one, but that does not necessarily classify it as controlled. A controlled experiment is an experiment that has only ONE independent variable, and other variables are kept the same.
Control
a controlled experiment
The factor that your results or tests are "dependant" on. As in you could not get the correct experiment without it
