On my 94 Diamante, I just take off the negative terminal at the battery and then put it back on. It helps if you have the terminal not too tight. snug enough that it stays clamped on and loose enough to be able to pull it off.
its in the midle of the head under the powerstering pump you have to remove the timing covers if you are going to change it i would recomend the you changethe the timing chain
Pull the horn fuse - two fuses right of fuse 13.
It is under the front side exhaust pipe. if you look up from the bottom of the car front side exhaust where it makes the 90 degree going towrds the back of the car from the passenger side you will see it
If your talking about turning the alarm off while it's beeping and churping,, try putting the key in the driver side door lock and turn..... it happened to me and I didn't realize it was my car's alarm going off till i opened the door..... the car is still new to me, just bought it a few months ago. 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS

It could be that the battery in the remote is low. Replace the battery first. If that does not fix the problem, take it to a shop that repairs car alarms. Many have been fixed just by replacing the battery. Prior to the battery going completely out, it will cause the alarm to misread.
You first need to check the battery of your alarm system. Your alarm system may also be going bad and need to be replaced.
IF its hocked up to the horn temporarily unplug the horn
Call an alarm repair man to fix it.
