An older male coworker who I dated briefly always acted as a gentleman and opened the car door for me yet now that we are just friends he does not should I still expect that of him or am I off base?

well any man should do nice things for you, but now that he is not getting anything out of it, he doesnt think he still should. you cant expect him too unless he is a true gentleman and he respects you.
