Collection of coins is called collection of cons only n there is no specific word for it. It is different from numismatics as numismatics is the systematic study of coins. Mere collection of coins cannot be called as numismatics.
There are a few names used for a stamp collection. The most common one is a stamp philatelic. A few other names that people use are stamp sets and stamp books.

There are some good ways to manage a coin collection. I seem to be no good at any of them. :) The best way, in my opinion, is to photograph each coin, and purchase a coin collecting program online where it keeps track of current prices, what you paid, name, mintage, rairty, and photos. Very handy because everything is in one place.
