No, the answerer above^ is not a witch. He/she is a Wiccan. There is a distinct difference. "I", on the other hand, AM a witch. A rather young witch. None in my family have magic abilities; not even that of a gypsy. But, yes, I am a witch, NOT a Wiccan.

A witch is anyone, male or female who calls and considers themselves one. The practice of Witchcraft is common among many spiritual paths. It would be not just rude, but unwise to denigrate the true beliefs of others.
