No. Samus looks at Anthony as a "big brother" type of character.
Currently 12, (not counting Metroid Prime: Trilogy and Zero Mission), and one unreleased, which is Metroid: Other M (making number 12). The chronological order of the games are: Metroid/Metroid: Zero Mission. (Zero Mission was a remake of the original Metroid) Metroid Prime/ Metroid Prime Pinball Metroid Prime: Hunters Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Metroid II: Return of Samus Super Metroid Metroid: Other M Metroid: Fusion *Note that these are NOT listed by release dates*
yes
Metroid Other M, or did you mean besides that?
The newest Metroid game released in 2010 is called Metroid other M. I would rec-amend this game to any Metroid fan.
The latest metroid game is metroid prime trilogy which lets you play all three metroid prime games on the wii. Also in 2010 there is metroid other m

you don't find him in metroid other M he either ends up dying when the ship blows up at the TRUE metroid other M or he he is the "Deleter"
By online, I assume you mean the internet. You can find the classic metroid game online, metroid vs. megaman, metroid genesis, and metroid elements. Those are the big ones. Samus also has some appearances in some other flash games, too.
If you mean chronologically, then the order is: Metroid/Metroid:Zero Mission, Metroid Prime/Metroid Prime Pinball, Metroid Prime Hunters, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Metroid II:Return of Samus, Super Metroid, Metroid:Other M, and finally, Metroid Fusion. If you mean by releases, then the order consists of this: Metroid, Metroid II, Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, Metroid Prime, Metroid:Zero Mission, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Metroid Prime Pinball, Metroid Prime Hunters, Metroid 3:Corruption, and finally, Metroid:Other M.
There can't be a Metroid Prime 4, cause all phazon and dark samus was destroyed thereby closing the curtain on the prime series which focused on these things and Nintendo have released that there won't be prime four but they will make other metroid games like metroid other m coming out later 2010
No. Metroid Other M might be though.
