It could be leaking from the water pump. There is a small hole in the bottom of water pumps that will leak coolant when the bearing id going out. This is so you have an indication of failure before it comes apart and destroys other engine parts.
If it is not leaking externally then it is leaking internally. The intake manifold gaskets are known to leak coolant into the engine on that vehicle. Have a trusted mechanic diagnose the problem soon because coolant mixing with engine (even in small amounts) oil will cause big trouble down the road.

Antifreeze or water ( whatever you are using in the engine for cooling), will be leaking out and onto the engine and ground if the small hole in the front isn't plugged with oil or dirt. Otherwise it may go into the engine oil. If the impellar inside has stopped turning, you will notice that the engine will start overheating.
Defective water pump.

A small radiator leak can cause antifreeze to leak on your 1998 Chevy Lumina when there are not any spots on the ground. A pinhole in a hose can also cause this.
If its leaking under the engine ... then probably one of the frost plugs has a leak which seals itself when the engine is warm. answer where ever the leak is, it is a small one that is sealing up again when engine gets hot a water pump will do that before it completely lets u down finf leak and fix it before it leaks big time
