The Old Testament is a very honestly written book where history , deeds and prophets and Gods warning to man are concerned, like Noah getting drunk, and Lots daughters having sex in the cave.Nothing is hidden or knocked out, like other books.

The Old Testament was completed by the second century BCE, long before Paul lived. He did not write any books in the Old Testament.
I am not sure how I believe on this issue. In the old testament it says, for a woman not to wear that which pertains to a man and if you do that it is an abomination unto the Lord. But the question is ... is the bible talking about pants. Any comments on this issue will be greatly appreciated.
The Old Testament.
YES. Compared with any other religion, Jews have the strongest focus on the Old Testament.
Abraham is first mentioned in the Old Testament.
Jonah is from the Old Testament.
The book of Job can be found in the Old Testament.
The Old Testament does not have any Gospels (Good News) as there was not much in the way of good news such as in the New Testament and the Good News that the world now has a Savior, Jesus Christ.
Matthew's Gospel contains more refereences to the Old Testament than any other New Testament book. Sometimes the author pointed to the Old Testament as prefiguring events in his Gospel, sometimes he would just write passages that reflected Old Testament passages and let the discerning reader find the parallel passage in the Old Testament. He wanted his Gospel to be seen as the successor to the Hebrew scriptures.

The Christian bible has two parts: The old testament and the new testament. Christians believe that when Jesus came and died for our sins, he said that the old testament did not matter any longer. Judaism does not believe in Jesus, so they do not have the new testament. They follow the original old testament, which as I stated, is also in the Christian bible.
