any luck? I have the same problem with my 1997 C280. It mostly comes and goes with the rain, but not always.

They are two separate circuits. Check the 4 way fuse then check the 4 way flasher relay.

More detail: the turn signals slowed down gradually and then stopped working. All lights still flashed when hazard lights switch was activated. The bulbs and fuses are all okay, and I have replaced the hazard flasher (which I think is a combo hazard/turn signal unit). I have a Mercedes E320 2003 and the turn signals do not work where is the fuse located?
My 2000 E320 fuse box for the turn signals is located in the panel to the left of the sterring wheel. You need to open the driver's door to see the panel. There is a card inside that provides the fuse location. We replaced the fuse for the turn signal position, however our turn signals still don't work- any ideas?

If the the problem is not in the actual switch itself, you may have a "flasher" going bad. these run your turn signals and four ways. They are usually located up under the dash some where or close to the fuse or relay boxes.
