Yes there are several new phones coming to Metro PCS practically mostly androids phones
yes
can i connect an i phone to a metro service?
No, they don't have sony phones. Part of the problem, is that Sony phones aren't compatible with MetroPCS technology - at least not on a full scale. MetroPCS uses CDMA technology and most Sony phones don't use CDMA... Any sony phone I've ever come across needs a SIM Card...CDMA phones don't use SIM cards. That right there should tell you about the obstacles. Now, I'm sure you can go get an unlocked Sony phone, and take it to MetroPCS dealer and have them flash it and get it to work on their network. But I'd be surprised if you'd get full functionality out of it. You also run the risk of frying the phone, although this risk is slight.
MetroPCS is a prepaid wireless provider that uses the GSM network, meaning any GSM-compatible phone should work with MetroPCS. Some popular brands that are compatible with MetroPCS include Apple (iPhone), Samsung, LG, Motorola, and Google (Pixel). However, it is always best to check with MetroPCS or the specific cell phone manufacturer to ensure compatibility before purchasing a new phone.
Yes you can! U do not even haven to unlock it .. Any new generation MetroPCS phones are native to T-Mobile as they bought everything to get their frequencies. Old generation MetroPCS phones were CDMA but the new generation are all GSM and because they're native T-Mobile the can operate on Simple Mobile without unlocking. Currently all Huawei, LG and Samsung phones sold by Metro PCS are GSM phones. If you decided not to read the previous lines DO NOT UNLOCK the new MetroPCS phones. They all work on Simple Mobile.
Some cell phones that are coming out, or have already come out, in 2011 are the Nokia E6 & X7 Smartphones, Balckberry Apollo Curve, Emporia RL1 Smartphone, and the HTC Mazaa Windows Phone 7. Most of these phones do not have any totally innovative features, but they offer improvements and variations on other features (slimmer designs, better cameras, clearer screens, etc.) One of the hottest new features is the Windows phones. Providers offering new phones are At&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile.
Some cell phone carriers have the ability to block calls from certain numbers. Some phones also have this ability. However, MetroPCS is unable to provide this service. For Verizon phones, you may log in to MyVerizon and add phone numbers to your blocked call list. I think it is limited in the number of phone numbers though. Iff you have the Metro Pcs Android Phones....Get the app called "Mr. Number Call Block witch alows you to block any number any area code or any text message.
A Blackberry Curve on ATT is GSM-based, while Metropcs is a CDMA carrier. Even if you unlock the phone you would still not be able to use it on Metropcs or any other CDMA carriers as GSM is not compatible with CDMA or vice versa.
Metropcs has great service and can go almost anywhere in the world. The price is very affordable and nice phones are included. Plans starting at $35.
