When Adam and Eve rebelled against their creator and disobeyed his direct command, they died (Genesis 3:17-19/Genesis 5:5), as God said they would (Job 34:15)(Ecclesiastes 3:20)(Psalm 146:3+4/Ecclesiastes 9:5+10)(Ezekiel 18:4)(Romans 6:23)(1 Corinthians 15:22).
