∙ 8y agoNot are all. Some are osteocytes if they are not active. Other are active and they are called osteoblasts if they are busy breaking down bone and osteoclasts if they are building bone. These to are always balancing out one another out. When we age they sort of get out of balance and our bones become thin or brittle.
