Traditionally, Christians have been most intolerant of other religious beliefs and of any views that differred from their own. However, this has changed in modern times, and many Christians are now somewhat tolerant of other religious groups.

In the past, as stated above, Christians have been somewhat intolerant. However, it is not necessarily the individual people that are At Fault, nor are there flaws in their beliefs. Often times, the church had its own agenda and would preach and rule its herd accordingly. In the modern world, where diversity is as plentiful as nitrogen in the air, many have become less aggressive towards others and the central Roman Catholic church has actually issued formal apologies for many of its prior transgressions.
