No they have different cultures.

In the United States, Native Americans are also referred to as Indians and American Indians. Honestly it's helpful to ask and make sure of what someone means if they refer to someone as being 'Indian' as they may be referring to Native Americans or they may be referring to someone from India. I know; it's confusing.
