No. Toyota makes the Land Cruiser. Range Rover is manufactured by Land Rover, a British company.
As far as I know, every Land Rover model (including the Range Rover) is built in the UK. They may build them elsewhere for foreign markets but I doubt it.

Land Rover is the manufacturer. Range Rover is the model. They also have a Discovery, Freelander, Defender, LR2, LR3, LR4, Range Rover Sport & Discovery 2 model. All of them made by Land Rover. They have other models not sold in the US as well.
No they are made by land rover, who are now owned by the Indian car manufacturer Tata.
When Land Rovers were first built they were made my Rover, then British Leyland before being bought by British Aerospace. They then changed hands to BMW and then to Ford. In June 2008, Ford sold its Jaguar and Land Rover operations to Tata Motors, who currently own Land Rover.
The question is not clear because range rover are made by Land Rover. Therefore, there is no comparison between them. Um really neither some might run along time but you'll throw to much money into them. We have 120000 miles on ours but we've probably put $20000 trying to keep it up. And really unless you need it for like very treacherous conditions get one of those big 4 door jeeps or something similar.
