extremely easy. all you need is a box of dog treats and you can teach your pug anything. my pug actually learned over 50 english words just from me saying the word, demonstrating the action, and giving him a treat. pugs are actually very smart dogs. you just have to know what works with your pug. good luck!

∙ 11y agoIt would depend on what you were trying to train it to do. Poodles were originally hunting dogs used in wet conditions ( hence their traditionally trimmed hair) so they are likely to be fairly easily trained for hunting purposes.
