Well not really, they are a fairly common breed of horse in the USA. But within the breed there are some changes going on that should be stopped to preserve the original type of Morgan. Many breeders are now breeding Morgans to look like long necked halter Arabians which is wrong and causes health issues later in life. The old 'Lippitt' style of Morgan is a true representative of the original type of Morgan and should be preserved.
