This all depends on how you define what a "Christian" is.
If you believe that a "Christian" is a follower of Jesus Christ, then yes. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the only way to salvation. Mormons believe that they must accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior in order to be cleansed from their sins and be saved. Mormons believe that the Holy Bible (King James Version) is the sacred word of God and are expected to study it daily. Mormons believe that at baptism, they take upon themselves the name of Jesus Christ and promise to live their lives as an example and witness of Christ.
If you believe that a "Christian" must fit into a narrower definition, probably no. Mormons do not believe in the traditional Christian doctrine of the Trinity - that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are the same being. Mormons believe that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three separate beings perfectly united in their purpose. Mormons also believe that there is additional scripture than the Bible (the Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price) and have other beliefs and practices that are not found in mainstream Christianity (such as a modern living prophet, baptism in behalf of the deceased, eternal marriages and families, and pre-mortal life)
Mormons do define themselves as Christians, and invite you to learn more about them and decide for yourself if they are Christian or not. Check out the "Related Links" below to learn more and make your decision.
no they are from the devil
Yes, Mormonism is a form of Christianity.
Christianity
Mormonism is just like any other Christian religion, each religion being with their individual differences, so if Mormonism is fraudulent, then all of Christianity is fraudulent.
There is no correlation between the two.
I dispute your premise. Mormonism (which is correctly called The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) is built on a foundation of restoring original Christianity. If you believe Christianity to be a lie, then you would doubtless have difficulty with the LDS faith. But you are correct in observing that Mormonism requires intense caring for one another. That is, after all, the most important of Christ's teachings, and the foundation of Christianity.
It depends on which one. If it is Christianity, Yes. If it is Mormonism or some other cult no.
There wasn't a fall of Christianity. It is still a popular religion.
the fall of constantinople did not effect christianity
Mormonism is a branch of the American Protestant branch of Christianity; It was created in America by Joseph Smith, Jr.
There are many more than four, but the four largest are Orthodoxes, Mormonism, Protestantism, and Catholicism.
Orthodox Christianity, as before. But it was banned. That was the main reason of fall of USSR.
well allot of religions do for instance Islam Mormonism and Christianity all move out to try to get freedom
Joseph Smith, Jr. is usually credited as the founder (not finder) of the Mormonism movement. His followers believe that he was a prophet acting under the direction of Jesus Christ, so many would say that Jesus is the founder of Mormonism rather than Joseph Smith.
