I would not wear Mossimo shoes. The right shoes need to have great grip, lightweight, good durability, and a thin sole.
Sole
There are a couple of factors that need to be considered when looking at the sole of a shoe:
Thickness
Despite what some may believe, a thick sole is not advisable in a Parkour shoe. Thick soles can sometimes assist in promoting poor technique. Thick soles generally provide a lack of sensitivity between your feet and the environment you interact with. This lack of sensitivity allows some people to attempt drops that they are not yet ready for. Having thinner soles allows you to feel the impact of landings. This is beneficial as it forces you to maintain correct technique so as to avoid injury.
Design
Shoes with a one piece sole will be the most effective as they do not tear away in chunks as many soles that are glued together in segments tend to do.
Weight
Ideally, the shoe should be as light as possible when you're running around all day the less weight you carry the longer you can continue to train. Generally, less added weight to the body is beneficial because it will allow more natural and free movement.

Each type of shoe will offer certain benefits; softer landings, more ankle support, etc. However, there is no "best" shoe for parkour; parkour is about the movements, and if you can properly do the movements; shoes are not that big of an importance.
Do DC court graphic skate shoes work for parkour?
DC skate shoes are not designed for running, which is a fairly significant aspect of parkour, since you have to run in order to maintain enough speed to jump up and over obstacles, walls, gaps, etc. Parkour requires shoes that will not shift around a lot, and therefore skate shoes, which do not fit as tightly as, say, running shoes, might not be the best choice. In my opinion, a set of trail running shoes would be better because they offer a snug fit as well as a more aggressive tread pattern, which will minimize slips and falls. Skate shoes do not typically offer very good tread. Trail runnning shoes are also lighter and more flexible, which also seems better for parkour.
