Answer
No they should not be allowed to wear the full veil in a non-Muslim countries, but are welcome to wear it in their own countries of origin*. I feel women who wear the full veil are unable to communicate and contribute to their community and society, which in my opinion is wrong, negative and damaging. Even most Muslims, do not agree with the full veil, as they feel it is not part of Islam. Women who wear the full veil in countries, such as England , which is a non-Muslim country, are unable to gain employment, , as basic communication and recognizing your work colleagues, in a work place is very important. It also undermines security, in places like Airports, Schools and banks, where recognizing people's faces is a part of safety issues.
*Note: not all Muslims are immigrants. Many are born and raised non-Muslim countries, such as converts. Islam is a religion, not a race.

∙ 13y agoNo, Muslim women must show their face during prayer.The burqa is basically a long dress Muslim women wear during prayer.Many people get it wrong they think the Burqa is the face veil but it is not the Niqab is the face viel and the burqa is the long dress.
In certain places the Niqab is forbidden such as the whilst performing hajj.

∙ 12y agoMuslim women should be given a right to cover their faces , the thing I do not get is what is it to do with other religions why do they disrespect our religion ISLAM??? we bring peace we do not do anything to effect other peoples lives by covering our faces it is in the Qur'an that we have to cover our faces ...why do people disrespect our religion by not allowing it we mean no harm to others by covering our faces....we cover our faces for Allah we would not want to show our faces even our beauty , we do not want any men looking at us is their any problem with that?

∙ 13y agoNo, it is not manadatory. Burka that covers face is not an Islamic requirement. It is based on cultural and local practices. However, wearing Hijab; that covers head, hair, and neck; is mandatory for Muslim women to wear. Refer to related question below.

If it is just in front of women with no males, then you can exclude the head scarf.
If it is your husband, you are allowed to wear normally in front of him.
