The only real reference for Muslims is the holy Koran. There are many references in the Koran to evolution and Muslims are ordered to follow wisdom.
Yes, Muslims believe in creation. However, Muslims believe also in evolution but not as Darwin claiming in his theory. Evolution is the way God created in His creatures to adapt with changes in environment. Muslims believe that man is created by God and that man is not an evolution of monkey as Darwin claiming.
Most Muslims I have heard about do not accept evolution or evolutionary theory.
Many Muslims and Orthodox Jews do not " believe " in evolution. Of course the truth does not need you belief to be true and something can be true whether you believe it or not. I should re-word this question. Is there an atheist that doesn't agree with evolution? There may be an atheist that does not agree with evolutionary theory, but what difference would that make? If there was someone out there I would like to hear his views on evolution.
I do not so much " believe it " as I an convinced by the myriad lines of converging evidences that support the theory of evolution by natural selection. talkorigins.org
There is no proven theory of evolution only the physical evidence of what Chuck Norris has allowed to live.
They do not belive in the theory of evolution beacuse it contradicts the bible's idea that the human race was created in 6 days.

Well, I believe that God created the earth, but another theory that I don't believe is the big bang theory and evolution.
People should not " believe in " evolution but accept that evolution, the change in allele frequency over time in a population of organisms, is fact. The also need to consider the theory of evolution by natural selection, which explains much about evolution, as one of the most well supported explanatory theories in science. Then they would, if they are intellectually honest, come to accept not only the fact of evolution but the theory of evolution by natural selection. " Believe in " is a term one uses when one can provide no supporting evidence for one's concepts and this does not include evolution and the theory of evolution by natural selection. When the evolutionary theory was first proposed, people didn't believe it. Often, religion and evolution contradict themselves and even today, there are many people who favor creationism over evolution.
If you mean, "are they ignorant for being in evolution," then no. The theory of evolution is a well-founded, heavily detailed theory with an enormous amount of evidence behind it. The theory of evolution is used to study disease. It's used to study agriculture. It's used to bring together all of the sciences pertaining to life.
