to some people who have not been brought up within the Muslim faith it could appear to be a type of brainwashing.
i recently read a few passages from the qu'ran and found that i thought it not to my taste as it says basically you cannot doubt anything written in this book. if you do doubt anything in this book then Allah has blinded you.
i do not feel that this book is relevant in the modern world as some of the content would not apply anymore in our societies however i have been brought up in a western world.
i would appreciate a reasoned response justifiying why it is relevant from an intelligent respectful and reasonable Muslim as i can appreciate others views and not necessarily follow or believe them.
