Yes of course Muslims pay the taxes of the countries in which they live. Why would Muslims or any other people be exempt from paying taxes!
Property owners that are exempt from some of the property taxes in some states.
No. In most sates in the United State religious organizations are exempt from real and personal property taxes. Each state has their own tax laws that describe which properties are tax exempt. Such laws are uniformly applied, that is all religious organizations that qualify for exemption (not just the Catholic Church in this example) are therefore exempt.
Yes, Native Americans pay real and personal property taxes in the United States, unless there are specific state tax laws that exempt them from taxation. For example, in Nebraska the personal property that is owned by Native Americans who live within an Indian Reservation is tax exempt but real estate is not exempt whether located within an Indian Reservation or not.
In the United States, churches that meet certain criteria, such as being used for religious worship, education, or charitable activities, are often exempt from paying property taxes. However, the specifics can vary depending on the state and local regulations.
In most states, businesses are not exempt from taxes.
So? What is the problem here to discuss. Do one of you get half price on taxes? I never heard of this situation. Put the property in the exempt persons name.
In Florida, churches are generally exempt from paying property tax on the portions of their property used for religious worship or related activities. However, they may still be required to pay taxes on portions of their property that are used for commercial purposes.
Not tax exempt would mean that it is subject to taxes. Yes you would tax any thing that is not exempt from taxes in your business operation.
Two things in life are guaranteed. So the answer is yes.
It depends on he local and which exemptions may be applicable to it's situation. Whatever it is exempt from, MUST be used for the Cos exempt purpose and not something else....so say a charity has gotten a property tax exemption for the building it uses, but then takes that property and rents it out to make money (catering hall)...that would end the exemption, at least for that income.
it means you have to pay your taxes
