Health stamps were issued in New Zealand from 1929 until present day. The earlier the more valuable - 1931 blue or red boy can be worth many 100's of dollars. But after this they are worth a lot less and can be bought on line for between 20c and $5 altho there are a few exceptions. Search ACS stamp catalogue for a free color on-line catalog.

If You are exporting goods from NZ the Lower the NZ dollar the more NZ dollars you get for your product, Assuming that you don't alter the price as the value of the NZ dollar goes down.
As long as you have the correct postage you can use 'regular stamps' to post to anywhere in the world. If I want to send a letter and it costs $2:40 then I know I need 4 stamps @60c value each , which is the domestic rate in NZ. Otherwise I go to the Post Office and buy a $2:40 stamp.
It depends on what you are sending. You can calculate postage, see the related source link below.

The NZ dollar is currently about 80c US. And there are 100 cents to the NZ dollar. But coinage is only usable generally in the country of issue. Banks will handle notes, but not generally coins.
There is no New Zealand 'base camp' in Antarctica. There is a research station -- Scott Base -- supported by the New Zealand government. You can find it on Ross Island, connected to the Ross Ice Shelf.
