Clearly they are good at being ornamental and at finding human homes to live in. Beyond that, it is hard to say. They are cats, and still have the standard set of cat hunting instincts; but some hunting skills are learned rather than instinctive, and it is likely that the Oriental longhair is so far from its hunting roots that it may not have learned the quick kill. Beyond that, of course, one would have to decide what any cat is good at... and likely Oriental Longhairs will be good at that as well.
