do you mean a bantom hen because if you do then they are very small hens ( and roosters) that don't grow as big as normal chickens. i have 4 bantams and 4 normal chickens and they are really cool ! hope this helps from i-luv-my-chickens
In large quantities, yes, it's poison to all chickens. However, most people report that their chickens love to hang out in the shade of the bush, and perch in it, and pay no attention to the leaves. So if you have a laurel bush and chickens, I think it's safe to say that you can keep both together. Just watch out and make sure the bantams don't start eating the leaves. Animal usually do know what plants aren't good for them.
Generally, predators kill chickens. Not prey. :P Most medium sized carnivores will kill chickens. Dogs, foxes, coyotes, weasels, etc. Not sure about cats, but they could probably kill bantams with no trouble.
I believe you mean 'when do chickens become broody'. If this is what you mean it is usually in the Spring/Summer months that a chicken would like to hatch chicks. Although, not all chickens enjoy broodiness. Silkies, bantams and Orpingtons etc like hatching chicks.
IT is a puurpls ish redish blondish blue
There are several. The silkie and polish hens are two of them.
