No, not all Pontiac dealers will be closing. GM, or General Motors, has announced that they are going to eliminate their entire operation in regards to Pontiac production. In an attempt to make itself a smaller company, GM has stated they will only continue Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, and GMC. The production of Pontiac is being eliminated, but they still have a good amount of inventory they need to sell off. GM forecasts they will go from around the 6,000 Pontiac dealers in 2008 to about 3,000 dealers by the end of 2010. That means that there is about a 50/50 chance your local dealership will no longer carry Pontiac. Hope this answer helps.
The Pontiac brand was a division of General Motors. The brand was discontinued in 2009 due to financial woes, with all of the Pontiac dealers closing by 2010.
There are at least eleven Pontiac dealers in and around the Denver, Colorado area. You can find them by looking them up in directories or in the phone book. I am not sure how old this post is, but if there are 11 Pontiac dealers in and around the Denver Colorado area, I can tell you that there are 11 dealers that are either in Deep Trouble or they are GM Dealers, formerly having sold Pontiac. I am of the impression that Pontiac, since either 2009 or 2010 stopped producing automobiles just as Oldsmobile did several years back. You can still obtain parts for them, and probably, obtain them at most Buick, Cadillac or Chevrolet dealerships although you may have to wait a day or so for some of the parts to be ordered from the manufacturer. Good Luck Jim Petersen
Have your Pontiac dealers parts department print out a picture of the parts location for you. They will do this if you ask them.
