Not that I've ever heard of, very differant chemical structure, but it could easily be considered a drug itself.
Dissolve sugar in hot water until you can't dissolve any more. Then wait for the sugar water to evaporate. You can hang a piece of yarn into the sugar water; the crystals should form around the yarn.
diamond any type of crystals, sugar etc.
it depends on the size of the crystal, powered sugar obviously has more than a normal bag of sugar. You could have a one pound crystal of sugar too, it's far to many to count in any of these cases.

I wouldn't say there are "benefits" from chewing raw sugar cane. But it is healthier then processed sugar you buy at the store. Make sure the sugar cane is free of "hard crystals". Hard crystals are a mineral usually found in raw sugar canes that is usually cause when rotting pieces of sugar clump together. They can be harmful to the kidneys. :D But otherwise its not that bad... I love sugar but I don't know if I would want to eat it raw. ~idle34pizzaz
Yes. Caster suger is finer than ordinary sugar so there is less air space between the crystals and more sugar for the same volume. But on a weight-by-weight basis, it should not be any sweeter than regular sugar.
