Unmounted horse jumping is called "free jumping", where the horse is free of a rider. An unmounted jumping competition would most likely be called a "Free Jumping Show/Competition".
maybe it depends oh what show your in and how good you are and what your scoor is.
Any horse is capable of show jumping. They may or may not be good at it though. But all horses have potential to do anythin that they put their mind to, just like humans. So therefore, i do belive that a Canadian horse can Show Jump. :) EDIT: Yes it is. i own a Canadian and hes used for dressage but he could jump 3' 6" easily. (i don't really know what the height of show jumping is though, as i do not do it any more.)
There is show-jumping, cross-country and dressage (there're the main ones anyway)
Yes. You have to check the rules first though, as some show's only allow snaffle bits.
According to USET and USEF rules a rider must be over 18 years old to compete in Grand Prix Level Show Jumping, however any other level of competition of Show Jumping there is no age restriction.

Show jumping is also known as jumpers, stadium jumping, or open jumping. It is a member of a family of English riding equestrian events. The Enclosure Acts of England invented show jumping in the 18th century.
