Generally no more valuable than their Philadelphia counterparts. The Denver Mint produces about as many cents each year as does Philly but those coins tend to be released mostly in the western part of the country. If you travel to places like California, Arizona, Oregon, etc. nearly all cents have D mint marks.
There are a few D-mint cents from the early 20th century that ARE more valuable (e.g. the 1914-D issue) but these are long gone from ordinary pocket change.
Assuming you mean Lincoln cents, the 1909-S V.D.B., 1914-D, 1931-S and the 1955 Double-Die are the icons of the series.
1909-S-vdb, 1914-D, 1931-S and others.
1937 penny
When you say year pennies, I'm assuming that you mean what years on the penny make it valuable. Well, the grand-daddy of all Lincoln pennies is the 1909-S VDB penny. You can find the initials between the bottom of the two wheat stalks. (1909 was the only year that had the initials VDB (Victor David Brenner) between the bottom of the two wheat stalks. Also, all the 1909 pennies are worth quite some money, but not like the omg I'm sooo rich type. Other key and simi-key dates are the: 1914-D (only 1,193,000 minted) 1922 no D or S on it (mintage unknown) 1931-S (only 866,000 minted) Here are coins that the mint made by accident: 1955 double die (doubling in everything) 1972 double die Hope this helped!
The US never made silver pennies. In 1943 the US made steel pennies. These are often mistaken for silver pennies.
Yes, less than 6 are known.

it depends wheather or not you are interested in them and think they are valuable.
Pennies are minted at three locations in the US; The San Francisco Mint, The Denver Mint and the Philadelphia Mint. Pennies from San Francisco have an "S" on them. Pennies from Denver have a "D" on them and pennies from Philadelphia have no letter.
About 3 pennies. ;D
In an auction house.
Because people do collect them.
1937 penny
Wheat pennies from the 1940's and 50's are 5-10 cents.
In the UK pennies used to be denoted with a d eg. 6d. If you're reffering to US or elsewhere can't help.
