Does a person who commit suicide hate themselves?
People who commit suicide almost always suffer from major depression. They do not hate themselves; their lives are totally miserable, and they seek relief from the misery. Depression is treatable. If you know someone who is contemplating suicide, speak to someone in authority about it immediately. You are not "ratting out" your friend. You are more likely saving his or her life.

What group of people have highest suicide rate in the US?
If you mean in terms of occupations, probably members of the armed forces, police officers, and perhaps truck drivers. Truck driving is a field where a number of military vets get involved because war made them more isolated from others. Driving a truck is mostly a solitary job, and it allows someone to feel in control while they are on the road. Of course, living situations and disabilities are also a factor. Those estranged from their families are more likely to consider suicide than those in loving relationships. LGBT persons are more likely to commit suicide than heterosexuals. Divorced people are more likely to commit suicide than single people and happily married couples. Those who become disabled later in life may be more likely to commit suicide than either those disabled very early in life (excluding certain mental conditions) and those who suffer no disabilities. IQ can be a factor to a point. Those who are right below the normal range are probably more likely to commit suicide than those in the normal range and those who are profoundly mentally challenged. Things are perhaps the hardest on those who have cognitive disabilities and are fully aware they have them.

Is suicide infectious?
The idea of it may be but it certainly isn't a virus that you can get from being around someone. If you are around people who committed suicide or people who talk about suicide, try to get counseling. If your friend or someone you know wants to commit suicide, try to get them help as well. It is "contageous" in the sense that depressed people who see or hear of other people committing suicide will be more likely to want to commit suicide as well. That is one reason to resist the urge to commit suicide, since someone may want to follow in your footsteps and do it too. It is even worse when the person is very popular or influential. Someone may reason, "If it is good enough for ______, then it is good enough for me."
Why shouldn't you commit suicide when others have committed suicide?
Why married girls commit suicide?
Married girls are subject to the same kinds of problems which cause various other types of people to commit suicide; there is no unique problem associated with this particular demographic. We might hypothesize that married girls are driven to suicide by their cruel husbands, but the more likely outcome of an unhappy marriage is divorce, not suicide. Problems which can lead to suicide include clinical depression or bipolar disorder, terminal illness, or a profound sense of failure and hopelessness.

How many students commit suicide due to stress?
According to the Los Angeles Times approximately 1,300 college students a year commit suicide. University students are more likely to think or commit suicide than Elementary School or High School (although suicide can occur in both schools.) The cause of this is peer pressure; too much homework; stress put upon them to get good grades by their peers at college and also in some cases their parents. Too much competition for better grades due to the rise of more students going to college is increased in some students.
