Are airsoft gun accurcy a lame science project?

It could actually be really fun. Shooting an airsoft gun on the name of science.
One problem would be if you would shoot the same gun a million times and see how many times you'll get the center? Unless you had alot of guns and see which is more accurate.
What you can do is see if weather affects accuracy?
Put a hose above the nozzle and see how it affects it.
Don't put a fat spray and expect it represent rain. Use a spread nozzle for the hose and try to make look like rain as much as possible. You can also put fans and see how those affect accuracy. Then combine them. (water and wind)
I hopefully didn't get too far than you wanted but that was just a suggestion.
