No, Tarot is not evil, nor is it a danger to your soul. It does tap into ancient "knowledge". How you use it is what makes it "good" or "evil".
It should be noted, that Tarot cards, much like any number of other magical tools, can and will pick up a "memory" from the user. This means if you are planning on working with Tarot, go out and buy a brand new, still in the wrapper, set. Do not use a second-hand set of Tarot unless you know and trust ALL of the previous users.

Yes. Very evil. Though, that depends entirely on your frame of reference. Divination is a sin according to The Bible and even "casual" use of any such tool (tarot/ouija/tea leaves/palmistry) help to assure your own personal place in Hell. However, according to every other tradition its not the tool, or even the fact that it may be supernatural, but what information you gather and how you use it that makes it good or evil.

Evil lies within the mind of us humans, tarot is an excellent tool for meditation, guidance, psychic development & Personal Growth.
This deck is just the same as any other, it is a shame that they have been tainted by the media that surrounded the man they are named after.

I agree, this Tarot deck isn't evil. It however isn't the same as any other. It reveals alot more in a more complex symbolism than the standard decks. I also recommend that you actually read some of Crowley's own works. He himself is far from Evil.

Your probably not too "young". More then likely someone just told you that your too young because 1. They think tarot is evil or 2. They feel that tarot is a very powerful thing and you aren't mature enough to comprehend and properly handle it. In which case its not that they mean you are too young to "young" but they are saying that your too inmature or under educated in tarot magik.
