The concept of rebirth is a metaphor for new Christians. Just as we are born into this world [in the flesh] we can be reborn again as Christians spiritually.
This concept was coined by Jesus in John chapter 3. He is talking to the Rabbi Nicodemus. In a conversation Nicodemus asks Jesus if He was sent from God because the miracles he was doing had to be divine.
Jesus said to him, "Surely, no one can see the Kingdom of God unless he is born again."
Nicodemus doesn't fully understand this idea and when he asks for clarification Jesus expounds; He says that to enter the Kingdom of God you must be born by the flesh and by the Spirit. While flesh gives birth to flesh (your mother gave you birth) so the Spirit gives birth to spirit (you must be born through Christ by accepting him as your savior).
In this aspect we are born again (reborn) as Christians. Our physical life was granted to us by our mothers and fathers but our spiritual life was given to us by God our Father in heaven, through His son, Jesus.
According to The Bible, yes. Jesus said, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3)
The act of being born again is what saves a person, because the Spirit of Christ comes and takes root in that person. We cannot make ourselves righteous, so Christ comes and makes us righteous.
Not everyone who claims to be Christian is though. People seem to think that just because they were born in a "Christian" country this makes them Christian, or because they attend Church that this makes them Christian. But they are not automatically doctors and nurses because they were born in a Hospital, or footballers because they attend football games.
A Christian is defined by who someone is, not what they do. Because we are sinners just like everyone else. The difference is that we have recognized our need for a savior and look to Jesus Christ as Lord of our lives who has set us free.
Christians do not believe in a physical rebirth (reincarnation), but in a spiritual rebirth. John 3:3-6 - Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?" Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."
because when prophet Isa was reborn
The sacrament of baptism ask all Christians to get baptized which means to get emerged into water. You do this because you are showing that you are reborn again in christ and not in sin, that you follow God and all his teachings.Does that help?
christians go on Sunday(which is the 1st day of the week) because they believe that's when Jesus was reborn and sabbath is on Saturdays(which is the 7th day of the week)
They believe in rebirth, and regeneration after death. But they say that all non-Hindu's are not reborn but a Hindu could be reborn as anything.
