Answer:

Not all tumors discovered in the body are benign, (noncancerous), and not all tumors discovered in the human body are malignant, (cancerous). The most important thing you can do is detect early and treat early. Testicular lumps and testicular cancer have a super high success if treated early. Any teenager reading this and to all you moms and dads-- talk to your sons.. nephews.. brothers.. fathers.... Testicular cancer seems to be more prevalent in the early 20's to around the end of your 30's. Self- Exams take 2 minutes, you can do it in the privacy of your own shower, and Doctor Coldhands doesn't have to feel around "the boys"!!! Some years ago, athletic great Lance Armstrong, famous for winning "Tour de France" , suspected something wasn't right in his scrotum. He kept putting off his checkup, basically went into denial Finally he got so sick, He had to go in to the doctor. By then he learned that not only was the lump malignant, but had metastasized, meaning it had spread to other parts of his body. I know his lungs for sure got hit. He is lucky to be alive! SO do those self exams. They are simple. About once a week or so, while you're in the shower, take your soapy hands and gently hold your scrotum. With one hand, gently roll your testicle, one at a time, between your fingers. Each one should feel round and smooth with no bumps. (they may not feel perfectly round) but as long as you don't feel any bumps, even little ones, you're good.! Don't be alarmed if you feel what seems like something attached to the end of each testicle, that will be the "vas deferens". Those are tiny little "tubes" that transport sperm. If however you feel any lumps on "your boys", please see a doctor ASAP (as soon as possible).

Most common type of testicular cancer in males over 15 and under 40?

Most cases (95 percent) of testicular cancer originate in undeveloped cells (germ cells) that produce sperm. These tumors, called germ cell tumors (GCTs), are most common in men between the ages of 20 and 40 and are curable more than 95 percent of the time. There are two main types of GCTs: seminomas and nonseminomas. A third type, called stromal tumors, develops in the supporting tissues of the testicle.Testicular cancer may also develop in the supportive, hormone-producing tissue of the testicles (stroma). This type accounts for 4 percent of testicular cancer in men and 20 percent of cases in boys.Types of stromal tumors include Leydig cell tumors and Sertoli cell tumors.

These cancers grow from germ cells, the cells that make sperm.Seminoma: This is a slow-growing form of testicular cancer usually found in men in their 30s and 40s. The cancer is usually just in the testes, but it can spread to the lymph nodes. Seminomas are very sensitive to radiation therapy.Nonseminoma: This more common type of testicular cancer tends to grow more quickly than seminomas. Nonseminoma tumors are often made up of more than one type of cell, and are identified according to these different cell types:Choriocarcinoma (rare)Embryonal carcinomaTeratomaYolk sac tumorA stromal tumor is a rare type of testicular tumor. They are usually not cancerous. The two main types of stromal tumors are Leydig cell tumors and Sertoli cell tumors. Stromal tumors usually occur during childhood.

Is it true if a man takes a pregnancy test and it comes backs positive does that mean testicular cancer?

That is not true at all. According to the American Cancer Society, pregnancy tests work by detecting a hormone called Beta-HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin). Beta-HCG is produced by the cells of a woman's placenta during pregnancy, but is also excreted by some tumors "including some, but not all, testicular cancers," so its true
