The only dollar coins minted in 1877 were Trade Dollars, identifiable because they have those words on the back. If your coin has that wording, its value depends on the condition and mint mark: S mint mark or plain (Phila) prices range from $65 to $200. CC mint mark coins range from $500 to $2500. If you have any other design is it either a fantasy piece or a counterfeit; both are known to exist.

Please check your coin again and post a new, separate question. Anthony dollars were minted in 1979-81 and 1999. None contain any silver, and circulation versions have no extra value. There are no US silver dollars of any type dated 1790.
Trade off definition - any alternative we give up by making a decision Trade offs occur when decisions are made, and decisions must ALWAYS be made. Politically, and in our daily lives. It's unavoidable. Even dictatorships and communist governments have to make decisions. For example: I SHOULD be doing my homework right now or studying for any school related options I have, instead I am answering this question. Thus, I am losing valuable time that I could be using to do school work. But that's the trade off of my decision. Understand? :)
Generally not.
The U.S. did not strike any silver dollars with that date. The only dollar-type coins issued that year were Trade Dollars. See http://www.numismedia.com/fmv/prices/trddlr/pricesgd.shtml for a price guide. If your coin does not have the words "Trade Dollar" on the reverse I'm afraid that it is a fantasy piece or possibly an outright counterfeit.
