No, they are actually very healthy.
On their own, No bananas are not poisonous, However too much of anything is not good for you, and this is very true of bananas. One of the problems with bananas is that they are rich in potassium. And since they are seen as easy to eat and mineral rich they are often eaten by athletes. Over eating can put pressure on the kidneys which can only extract a limited amount of potassium per hour.
The same athletes also like nuts for the same reasons, and one popular nut is Almonds, these contain an organic chemical called cyanide. (it's why eating a few gives you energy, your adrenal system is activated.) when both foods are eaten together, you create a chemical known as potassium cyanide, which is very good at stopping the heart.
Marathon runners are the worst at this, and we have had documented cases locally of runners collapsing with cardiac arrest as a result of the above combination. Fortunatly good CPR , AED application, and injections of adrenaline saved their life, The fact that the runners in the team behind him were from he local hospital, and one was a cardiologist helped too :-)
So I guess the moral of the story is: All things in moderation (Especially Moderation)
No, they are actually very nutritious.
People might get the idea that they are poisonous because they are high in potassium. Potassium is a nutrient that they body needs, but too much can be bad for you and may even result in death; however, the amount needed to hurt you is much greater than what would be consumed by the average person, even if they eat a lot of bananas.
Bananas aren't a drug, and have zero to marginal narcotic powers. But I suppose you could eat enough of them to get sick to your stomach.
No. They are poisonous.
There are many poisonous spiders found in bananas, but in the very bananas you buy at your average grocery store, there are millions of poisonous bacteria. But don't worry. Their poison can't effect you and banana factories have placed chemicals or have cleaned the bananas so that the bacteria dies and the bananas are perfectly safe.
555,555 bananas.
No. Extremely cold, extremely high gravity, poisonous atmosphere, no solid surface. No bananas.
They eat whatever they can find that isn't poisonous like bananas, coconuts, fish, and other fruits.

There are small garter snakes. None of which are poisonous. On occasion, snakes have been found in supermarkets around pei in bunches of bananas and other tropical fruits and vegetables.
Surely anything you eat in large quantities is bad for you. Overdosing on vitamins can do damage to your system (such as bananas), but why would you want to eat the gratuitous amount of bananas it would take to get to that point? Let's assume that if there was a fruit that was bad for you it wouldn't be readily available to you, like apples or oranges. Just don't overfeed it.
Banana plants grow in water rich areas. The contamination of metals, ddt, weed killers, rat poisons etc are absorbed by banana seeds. Normally one would not see the seeds in a banana but if it becomes visible as black dots these have become swollen by absorbing the contaminants. The seeds in the stomach act like triggers that uosets the system. First sign the tongue gets lacerated on the sides and becomes worse if more bananas are eaten
Bananas Are Awesome. That's about bananas
yes, depending on what type of snail. If its a small snail then consider it dead but if its a big ugly snail then it should be fine. In other words, check with the vet. :)
