Insects in general are capable of seeing more colors than humans can: red, green, blue, and ultraviolet!
While I can't say for sure about the bark beetle larva (which damage trees and might be totally blind as eyes won't help in the dark inside the tree) the adult beetles almost certainly have the full 4-color vision that insects have.
