I do believe beagles are great with kids especially older kids younger kids could pull there ears and mess with them and and pull there tail so they arn't very good with young kids like the ages 4 and younger.
Beagles have a tendency to "always want to be the head of the family" - which can include rounding up family members (like a sheepdog rounds up sheep). They're not a particularly easy-going type of dog; if a child is annoying them by being too rough, a beagle will let the child know. This behaviour could be problematic with younger children. Having said that, at least beagles are small, so if they are "getting in the way" they are quite easy to pick up and move. But for a family with very young children (youger than teenagers) a beagle will probably not be the most appropriate choice of dog.
Yes this is a good dog for kids, they can pull their ears tails and lay on them and the dog will love it.
It depends on it's history, but most are very good with children.
Beagles are friendly with people, and cooperate with other animals as well.
beagles hunt rabbits they are good at it they us there scent to find them and chase them
beagles are the worlds best sniffers and from a hound family they are very good at tracking but very dangerous when there is a snake in the farm
Really like that question! Well harriers are a little bit taller than normal beagles beagle harries are original from France and beagles are from England. Harrier needs more exercise than beagles and beagles need more space to live in. Both of them are beautiful and really good for hunting rabbits. Beagles are kinda more popular
it's obviously an opinion! If you like beagles, then keep one for a pet.
becuase they are cute and funny
Beagles are not defense dogs. They are much too gentle for any sort of defensive training. What they are good at is barking when someone approaches.
yes beagles are the greatest pets ever
Pocket beagles are a fantastic mix with children. One of the best aspects of the breed is that they have a smaller, more child friendly, size.
