Common boils are not linked to cancer. However, there are condition that cause boils that can be equally concerning. If it occurs frequently in many parts of the body then you need to see a doctor. If it doesn't resolve, then you need to see a doctor. If it happens and you know why it happens, like you did alot of hiking, or like to touch open flames... then stop doing that...
