First of all, females don't HAVE sperm cells, they have eggs instead. Second, females are BORN with eggs already inside them whereas males produce new sperm every day, therefore it takes 9 months for eggs to be MADE and a few weeks for them to MATURE. Male sperm only takes 1 day.

Girls do not produce sperm, sperm are the haploid reproductive cells (gametes) produced by men. The haploid reproductive cell (gametes) that a women produces is called an ovum (egg).

In part the question may be correct, I guess, as sperm (boy gametes) can swim, whereas the ovum (girl gametes) cannot swim. Thus, the gametes of a boy are faster than the gametes of a girl.

The male sperm is thought to travel faster than the female sperm, however it is said that the male sperm expires faster than the female sperm. That is why some conception methods tell couples to have sex a few days before ovulation if they are wanting to have a girl, that way they are more likely to conceive with the longer-living female (X) sperm by the time the woman ovulates.

Do male sperm cells swim faster?

Studies show that the sperm that produce female offspring (aka girl babies) swim more slowly than the sperm that produce male offspring, but they are also hardier. This means that "boy sperm" swim fast but die faster and "girl sperm" swim more slowly but last longer. The "Shettles Method" says that to increase your chances of having a girl, have sex 3 days before you ovulate and to have a boy have sex the day before you ovulate. The theory being that if you have sex earlier, only the "girl sperm" will survive OR if you have sex later, the "boy sperm" will outpace the "girl sperm."

What Are the best foods to eat to help conceiving a girl?

The food you eat doesn't determine the sex of your baby. The man's sperm determines the sex it will be. He has male & female sperm. You'll probably get a girl, because the girl sperm swim faster than male sperm. There are more girl babies born than boys.

How are humans created?

A male and female have sexual intercourse. The male releases sperm into a female vagina which will swim up into her oviduct. If there is an egg there and one of the sperm makes it the sperm will fuse with the egg. The egg will then move down into the uterus and the cell will divide. If all goes well a baby will begin to grow.

Can a male betta fish swim faster than a female betta fish?

Probably not. The female is more streamlined and designed for a fast get away. She usually has to flee from any marauding male who may decide to 'have' her and/or kill her.
