yeah. possesion of one is illegal. its because they are hard to open and noobs hurt themselves. they are also seen as a weapon because they can be opened quickly with one hand like a swith. which is also illegal, just alot easier to get.

A butterfly knife can open by force of gravity, which according to this statute, makes it illegal. So, no, butterfly knives are not legal in the state of Washington.
